Vision: The exterior landscape of this sushi restaurant is designed as a multi-sensory experiential garden before diners even enter the building. The design adheres to the Japanese principle of Wabi-Sabi, honoring the beauty of imperfection and nature. The rustic texture of the bamboo wall contrasts with the sheen of the Koi pond’s surface, where the vibrant fish introduce life and movement. The placement of various lush green plants (ferns, shrubs) against a backdrop of rock and pebbles cleverly partitions the space, creating a sense of seclusion and meditation, thus preparing the customer’s mind for the refined dining experience within.
